This sounds like it would work with pre-school through maybe 2nd or 3rd grade, but what about after that when 5-10 minutes is just too short of a time to spend on some subjects.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6711428612809414674.post-22504539228306855382009-09-28T20:06:09.690-07:002009-09-28T20:06:09.690-07:00I'm researching homeschooling because we are s...I'm researching homeschooling because we are so disappointed with the quality of the public school education our children are getting and can't afford private school anymore. I love how you broke the day down into manageable increments! We haven't decided on whether to homeschool or not but your blog definitely helps with our perspective.superfam5noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6711428612809414674.post-40373432760032772002009-03-19T23:08:00.000-07:002009-03-19T23:08:00.000-07:00Love this post! Wisdom is so much more important that head knowledge.

I agree with your method for piano (and your other subjects as well!). I have a brother who is 5 and he's not ready to completely do lessons, but I let him play around on the piano and help him some. Because he's young I don't pressure him to practice yet. It's a process. :)

May the Lord bless you as you seek to honor Him and raise your "arrows"!
AllisonAllisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00207618474192731259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6711428612809414674.post-84383459873210007012009-02-23T19:41:00.000-08:002009-02-23T19:41:00.000-08:00Hello! :)Hello! :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6711428612809414674.post-64889084890226353362009-02-12T14:52:00.000-08:002009-02-12T14:52:00.000-08:00I love the fact that you do 5 min here and 5 min t...I love the fact that you do 5 min here and 5 min there... it shows that teaching your children has become a way of life and you're teaching them in all you do. Even now I find that five minutes is often long enough and if the kids are still interested they will come back later for more.

And if you feel like sharing this would be a wonderful post to share over at CU.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13735948672915158770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6711428612809414674.post-2779156468986863492009-02-10T08:38:00.000-08:002009-02-10T08:38:00.000-08:00Always happy to hear that MathTacular is a blessin...Always happy to hear that MathTacular is a blessing [smile].

~LukeLuke Holzmannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07799632321310461828noreply@blogger.com
